Medici Effect - Diverse Teams Are More Innovative
Frans Johanssen has given a number of talks on the Medici Effect, which goes out on a limb to say that all new ideas are really just combinations of existing ideas. The gist of this video is that by forming diverse project teams where everyone brings something to the table, you can generate more effective and/or innovative results. I think this fits well with the videos we watched today. Video link

This video speaks to the power of diverse teams but also to the point about letting ideas live without shooting them down immediately. Even old ideas that are brought up in a different context can produce new, exciting ideas.
