Dunkin' Brands unveiled an advertisement on MNF created entirely in Vine. Dunkin' seems to be capitalizing on the consumer trend towards even faster consumption patterns. Apps like Snapchat and Vine are increasingly becoming more relevant and more popular as users like to digest content in smaller and smaller chunks of time. Production of these types of ads are obviously much cheaper and can be used in multiple channels (TV, internet, mobile) which makes it extremely versatile and flexible. Due to the lower production costs, small businesses are now on a more level advertising playing field as well. I believe these ads will become more prevalent and will drastically effect traditional TV advertising especially as it already is in competition with the multi-tasking nature of its consumers.
